First Bisazza Flagship Store In Tokyo
Tokyo, Japan (PRWEB) May 4, 2009 -- Bisazza, one of Italy's top luxury brands and the leading producer of glass mosaic (http://store.bisazzausa.com/) for interior and outdoor decoration, continues its worldwide expansion with the opening of its first Asian flagship store in Tokyo, Japan in February 2009.
Designed by architect Carlo Dal Bianco, director of the Bisazza Design Studio, the store is located in Minami Aoyama, one of the most prestigious and lively districts in Tokyo for fashion, interior design and architecture.
Bisazza's first flagship store in Asia occupies a space of 110 square meters and has been conceived as a series of different environments recalling the atmosphere of a sumptuous home and presents a wide range of the most exclusive Bisazza patterns in different color shades.
The showroom unfolds into six rooms decorated with some of the most representative patterns of Bisazza's mosaic collection (http://store.bisazzausa.com/shop-by-mosaic-catalog/): the geometrical motif Righe Oro Bianco covers the entrance hall leading to a "library", a room where the entire Bisazza mosaic collection is available for clients to consult at their leisure.
The space then opens up onto rooms decorated with Springrose Nero and Hamani Oro, followed by two smaller spaces covered with Velvet Grey and Liaisons Bianco respectively.
The two external windows showcase Etoiles Oro Giallo and Giza Oro Giallo, two precious Bisazza patterns in yellow gold.
The thirteen Marie Antoinette chandeliers that illuminate the store belong to the Bisazza Home Collection (http://www.bisazza.com/usa/), an assortment of furniture and decorative accessories designed by leading designers such as: Andrée Putman, Patricia Urquiola, Marcel Wanders, Studio Job, Jaime Hayon and Jürgen Mayer H.
The collection, combines mosaic and other luxury materials, and creates a unique take on home decoration characterised by boundless creativity.
Bisazza's interpretation of mosaic has successfully transformed a product traditionally associated with bathroom and wellness environments into a contemporary decorative element for all living spaces. This has been achieved by the production of a comprehensive range of decorative collections in different colour shades; taking inspiration from floral and animalier motifs as well as optical and geometrical patterns.
Bisazza mosaic has turned itself into a precious fabric, or wallpaper, in a contemporary interpretation of the classical decoration.
Created as a way to strengthen and coordinate the image and identity of the brand worldwide, all Bisazza flagship stores (http://bisazza.com/) are located in major cities: Barcelona, Berlin, London, Los Angeles, Milan, New York, Paris, Rome, Moscow, Antwerp and now Tokyo.
Each Bisazza flagship store explores the amazing beauty of mosaic as a decorative medium, connecting the preciousness of mosaic to the modernity of design making for a complete design experience.
